Our Story

Kanbandana was born from personal necessity. The founder, Boki, built it initially for himself and his wife while trying to manage their busy lives. With two kids, a full-time job, and numerous hobbies including classic hot rod restoration, woodworking, and maintaining planted aquariums, Boki found himself constantly juggling multiple projects. Add to that his HOA board responsibilities and regular home maintenance, and the task list seemed endless.

His wife, an artist, faced similar challenges managing her various creative projects and tracking time spent on commissioned work. Every task management app they tried was either too complex or too focused on business use cases. They needed something different - a simple, flexible tool that could handle the chaos of personal projects while helping them prioritize and schedule their progress effectively.
